SusanSusan – Media Director

In 1999 Susan Wirtz left her position as Associate Media Director at BBDO to start Wirtz Media, and has been providing strategic media planning and buying services for a multitude of clients ever since. She has an undying passion to discover unique media concepts which set her clients ahead of the curve.

Her years of experience and innate desire to learn have given her a firm grip on how traditional and digital channels work together. She is an attentive listener and thrives in an environment of collaboration. Susan is a tough but fair negotiator which results in bringing more to the table for her clients, through a vast array of added value ranging from discounted rates, bonusing, promotions, etc.

Susan is an educator and has provided Media 101 training to clients, media outlets and post secondary schools over the past 24 years.


Bryan – Digital Media Specialist

Bryan Mitten has been formulating and executing strategic Internet marketing programs for over 15 years. Prior to starting his own digital marketing consultancy, he served as Senior Digital Marketing Strategist with TELUS and as North American Marketing Manager at LUSH Cosmetics following a number of years working in a variety of marketing and advertising agencies. A former board member of the International Internet Marketing Association, Bryan has been an active member of the professional digital marketing community since its earliest days.

Bryan has also been a featured speaker at a variety of marketing industry events, has taught several educational programs, and has been recognized with numerous regional and national marketing awards. His current and recent clients include General Motors, Cathay Pacific Airlines, TELUS, HootSuite, ENMAX Energy, Vancouver Opera, COBS Bread, PLEA Community Services Society, Sylvan Learning, Sauder School of Business, Royal Roads University, and many other brands.


Lyette – Senior Media Planner

With over 19 years of experience as a senior media planner/buyer at one of the largest media planning and buying shops; Vizeum, Lyette has successfully planned and implemented national and local campaigns. Using her extensive knowledge of the Canadian media landscape has helped clients achieve their campaign goals and more importantly grow their business.

Her passion for building client relationships and being strategic with every dollar spent has helped her clients succeed even when their competitor’s have media budgets 4x higher than their own.


Will – Media Executive

Will started his media career with an internship at Wirtz Media in 2016. He has a Master of Management degree from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. He spent two years at Vizeum working on A&W, VTech Toys, Arterra Wines, and Rubicon Organics before returning to Wirtz Media in 2020.

He is a hard working, fast learning media planner and buyer. Will plans and executes traditional and digital media campaigns across many of the Wirtz Media clients.
